Carry vs Any.do when the job is the mental load
The iOS app for households sharing the mental load: the invisible work of remembering what needs doing at home. Tasks, shopping and events synced in real time for up to six people.
Any.do has polished shared lists and a calendar. Carry is built specifically around the mental load: the Mental Load Score, items that age, and one subscription for the whole household.
Who it's for
Households (usually couples) where one person remembers what needs doing. Up to six people, and it works solo until others join.
Couples whose real problem isn’t a missing list — it’s that one person is still doing all the remembering.
Who it isn't for
Work project management, solo GTD / Todoist-style projects, or Android-only households.
Anyone who mainly wants a polished personal list and calendar, or a household with anyone on Android.

What Carry adds when the job is the mental load
A Mental Load Score to start from
Three questions in the app (seven on /score) give you a number for how much of the household’s remembering lives in one head — an easier thing to talk about than a grievance.
Items that age
Fresh (0–2 days), Warming (3–5), Warm (6–9), Urgent (10+). The feed shows what’s been sitting, so nobody has to be the one who raises it.
One subscription, whole household
One person subscribes and up to six people get Carry Plus. The people who join never pay and never see a paywall.
Compliments and the Weekly Wrap
Acknowledgment is built into the flow: send a compliment when someone finishes something, and get a weekly recap of what the household got through.
