Shared to-do list for couples, without one person carrying it all
The iOS app for households sharing the mental load: the invisible work of remembering what needs doing at home. Tasks, shopping and events synced in real time for up to six people.
Carry is for couples where one person has become the household’s memory. You both see the same list on your own phones, and either of you can add to it the moment something is noticed.
Who it's for
Households (usually couples) where one person remembers what needs doing. Up to six people, and it works solo until others join.
Couples who want one list you both add to, instead of one person keeping it and the other being told.
Who it isn't for
Work project management, solo GTD / Todoist-style projects, or Android-only households.
Couples looking for a shared list for work projects, or where either of you is on Android.

How Carry works for two people sharing a home
One feed you both see
Tasks, shopping and events sit in one shared home feed, synced in real time. Neither of you has to ask what’s outstanding — you can both look.
Capture it when you notice it
Say it out loud and voice capture puts it in the right list. Noticing something no longer means holding onto it until later.
Aging instead of reminding
Items visibly age: Fresh (0–2 days), Warming (3–5), Warm (6–9), Urgent (10+). What’s been sitting is obvious without either of you having to bring it up.
Compliments and a Weekly Wrap
When one of you finishes something, the other can send a compliment — Sweet, Funny, Flirty or Simple. The Weekly Wrap recaps what the two of you got through.
Start alone, invite when ready
Carry works on your own until your partner joins. When they’re ready, share your 6-character invite code.
Carry or a shared note and the group chat?
A shared note or a group chat is free, already on both your phones, and fine for a short list. If that’s working for you, keep it. Carry is for when the list has become a job one person is doing.
| Compared on | Carry | A shared note or group chat |
|---|---|---|
| Adding something | Type it or say it — voice capture files it as a task, shopping item or event | Type it into the note or the thread |
| Seeing what’s outstanding | One home feed, synced in real time | Scroll back and piece it together |
| Seeing what’s been waiting | Items age from Fresh to Urgent | Nothing marks it |
| Seeing who’s carrying it | Activity log, Weekly Wrap and the Mental Load Score | Nothing tracks it |
